    ... leftover burgers with some green beans I had bought from camp shop and some of a huge portion of frites from restaurant! Not so healthy but finished with an apple - is that compensation? It's nearly dark now as I sit outside the van and can hear the sea lapping on the beach. A few pics taken this morning from the apartment. Lala salama . ...

    ... full (ish ) moon climbing from the sea over our heads and a magical last evening drew to a close. I have been so well looked after by the Scotts, as always. But all good things come to an end . Pete and Al are flying to Manchester on Thursday and going to watch Liverpool beat Aston Villa at Anfield on Saturday. I set off back towards France tomorrow morning, taking a bit longer than my drive south last week, and Trace has another week in her house here. We must return. But not by camper ...

    ... feelings of guilt as Pete drinks his zero zero brew while the rest of us quaff the real stuff. Then he does enjoy the late night brandy back on the terrace in the moonlight. And, of course, our enjoyment was made even greater by the England win against Switzerland which we watched the second half of with both goals!     ... in a Spanish fridge, like crab, prawns avocados and salad. A glass of wine completed the repast.  The evening took us down towards the beach once again for sundowners in a couple of beach bars before going to one of their favourite restaurants - Mediterranea - overlooking the beach. Although there were some clouds the weather was still warm and very Mediterranean. I can quite understand why Pete and Alison love coming here for sun and relaxation. ...

    ... siesta

    The very elegant and plush complex has a pool down the side of the hill - more descriptions later and a cooling swim was much-needed.
    The cup of tea on the veranda with sweeping views across the golf course and distant hills followed by an hour's recuperation in my cool guest room.

    Met up with Trace after getting some advice from the chemist about some annoying rash/spots that have bothering me on my head and forehead for a few days ...
