... a nice supermarket, but this one was the pits. It was more like a '70s KwikSave. But yesterday Consum provided me with a jar of Old English Marmalade. I have finished my home made jars I brought with me, and the continentals might make good jam but they have no idea about marmalade!

... a warm day, at least that was our excuse. We spent the afternoon in the square at Palomares where a man called Tom Lee was singing whilst everyone was joining in and dancing, a fantastic atmosphere with everyone, Jeremy and Wendy loved it singing and dancing, everyone sang happy anniversary to them as well. ... sunny day makes all the difference. An early get up on Tuesday was necessary as we were meeting the Walking Club at Cortijo Grande car park for 10.15am for the Wild Boar walk of 12km into the mountains. The maximum height we were going to walk to was 402m and the possibility of seeing wild boars was on the cards. Just moved along the coast a hours drive to a lovely little town of Isleta del Moro with the Isleta del Moro Arráez just off the coast.
