... was packed with sun worshippers. The Spanish seem to have no issue with nudity. The ubiquitous hippy element was in evidence with plenty of people wearing clown trousers and sporting dreadlocks, weaving friendship bracelets to sell to the day trippers.

On our way back later that afternoon, even more people were heading towards San Pedro with their tents and bags of provisions for the weekend.

... river bed called La Rellana to the summit top of a hill topped with communication towers. The vegetation on the way up was verdant compared to the rest of area and made the walk even more pleasant.

Saturday 26th April

Weather: Mucho Scorchio

We packed up and headed to San Jose. The campsite was easy to find and is lovely, shaded by eucalyptus trees. We had a walk around the small marina this afternoon and then went for our first sunbathe on the beach. I wore my new bikini for the first time.
