... River & is fairly close to the German border. I was tempted to travel for another hour to Rheinfall (Rhine Falls) the largest waterfall in Europe, but I simply did not have enough time if I was going to meet Ian at 5:30pm outside the stadium in Zurich.

Stein am Rhein is a beautiful medieval town on the Rhine as the following photographs will testify.

... little cable cars which only fitted 4 people for a further 20 minutes. The large version was a bit scary at times, as in I grabbed Jo, who coped ok. From St Gallen I moved to Lenzberg, about 30km from Zurich. This time I stayed with Nina and her family. Another really nice family who treated me so well.
Before I left St Gallen I caught up with another Swiss girl ( Marina) and her family for lunch. Very nice. Then a train to Lenzberg where Nina's mum met me at the station. Nina was on a field trip and was away till Sat morning. But it all went like clockwork.

... of pocket later we were fed and definitely keen to head out of town (coincidently that was cheap compared to Macca's Liechenstein where a cheeseburger combo was $17.....fair to say we took advantage of the free bogs and left hastily). We did manage a stroll along Lake Zurich waterfront and a little foray around the city and it was smart.....only problem is that you have to be well minted to make the most of it.....the high life!! Anyway we had found a nice little campsite ...
