... by a hot chocolate (as you may have noted we are liking the whole hot chocolate thing in Switzerland!), it was a delicious finish to the evening, with the melodious Edelweiss playing in the background. We both agreed it had been a good night and we enjoyed the walk home in the brisk evening air, seeing the illuminations of the city landmarks. There were two things left to do tonight. Before I left St Gallen I caught up with another Swiss girl ( Marina) and her family for lunch. Very nice. Then a train to Lenzberg where Nina's mum met me at the station. Nina was on a field trip and was away till Sat morning. But it all went like clockwork.

... with old buildings, quaint little shops and cobbled streets. It’s very busy at night with lots of people wandering around. There are plenty of bars and restaurants here, many people still smoke in Europe and they are banished to the outside tables.

We decided to extended our stay at the Bristol Hotel in Zurich to Monday evening 13th May and to just do day trips to villages of interest. Rather than moving on and carting suitcases around the ...
