The hardest part was coming and when the goodbyes needed to be said it was surprising to not see any tears but we all were hurting on the inside just a little bit if not more. The hardest hit were me and Phil, will our Bromance endure the tests of long distance…….what if he out grows me? These are questions we must deal with in life. We had our own brekkys and then head ...

After that I went to a nearby cycling shop to pick up some supplies for trip...power gels, drink mixes, CO2 cartridges to fill flats, inner tubes, etc. By the time I got back it was dinner time and we had a nice quiet evening out on the deck and ate a meal of BBQ'ed meat, bread and salad. With a good night's rest and a delicious breakfast under our belts from our cute little hotel in Malsch, we set out on our last excursions before we hit the road again. Marion and Dennis, our gracious hosts, picked us up and we caravanned to the house of another couple that was involved with the sister city program between Dinuba and Malsch, Jorgen and Elvira. We met them for delicious coffee and some ...

      What to do here??

A travel blog entry by isaacelsiemaya on Jan 31, 2012

We arrived in Stuttgart at 2:00pm. Our hotel was on the outskirts of the city so we purchased tram tickets for "all you can ride" and travelled to our hotel. Very cute little hotel, room on the top floor. Was horribly hot we slept with the windows open all night and it was 20 degrees outside. Four separate beds, a whirlpool, and on the 6th floor. NO ELEVATOR!!! Today ...
