    ... births. Then back into the cheese room to watch them drain the whey and pack the curds I to the moulds. This cheese was flavoured with stinging nettles, we tasted some mature cheese later and it was very nice. Then we looked around the museum and saw things that mum still has and uses.     ... the view. Half an hour later we were docking at Marken where again we got up close to the homes as we made our way to a traditional clog maker. He demonstrated how clogs are made (the machines are now 80 years old). Fascinating! Then it was time to board the bus again and head back to Amsterdam, where we arrived at 2:30pm. I caught the 2:52pm train back to Utrecht. Met up with Don and some of his colleagues for a drink and later shared a Chinese meal ...

    meeting at the rail station under the Amsterdam airport we boarded a train to Utrect where we pick up the camper. As we arrived a weather front brought cooler weather and rain to Utrecht and we had to walk several blocks in the pouring down rain.
