... heavy and I did have to haul everything to the museum and back to the hotel which was kind of a pain, but I’m so happy to have food I can’t complain (too much).

I went and found a little bench outside the Musee St-Croix and enjoyed the French version of a BLT (they put the bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes into a blender before putting it in the bread). After that, I swung by the Baptistère Saint-Jean to peak in the door and see if it was worth doing in. It cost only ...

November 9th and 10th

As some of you know, today didn't really work out like I planned. I spent 7 hours on a train to Limoges in order to go from there to a little village called Oradour sur Glane. The sermons and sermonettes were encouraging and stimulating, and the fellowship was warm and unceasing. Since we all stayed in the same place and took our meals together there ...

... the little villages tend to slow you down a bit. After booking into our hotel we found a Laverie down the road and managed to complete all the laundry requirements. After we strolled around Poitiers for a while, mainly the shopping area, which is quite big and very clean. It was pleasant to walk without the hustle and bustle of the larger cities.

Picked up some supplies for lunch on the road tomorrow and back to the hotel for a hot shower and a reasonably early night.
