      ... had to satisfy myself with a couple of beers on the 15th deck sitting on the grass watching the boat leave the harbour. Very civilised.

      We only have to travel about 100kms to the next port but it took about 12 hours and tomorrow we only travel 40kms and that's also taking about 12hours faster by ferry but gotta get the most out of the on board casino as poss.

      ... the waterfront for a walk with Chelsea. That weekend the blues festival was taking place, and we walked past to find out that tickets were going to cost $60 for the day. As much as I love taking in live music I couldn't justify that much, especially with the big move coming up. So, instead we took a walk to the 7-11 for a slurpee and visited our friends at the Stewart house. It was great to have another goodbye with some friends who I'm sure I'll be seeing at Christmas ...

      ... then perched and watched us from the trees. We also saw hummingbird and bald eagle circling ahead. The short aqua bus journey back to the city was improved by meeting a very cool and interesting guy who not only was English, but from Huntingdon (where I was born).       ... you - it's really cold, and you can see it billowing in the air like smoke when you look up.... So we had a walk along the beach (making the most of the sand while we can - most beaches are rocks or pebbles), grabbed some coffee and stayed in all day.       ... shuttle bus was almost full when we got downstairs at 5:00, with bleary eyed travelers, some of them probably going through the same thoughts as we had. It was a quiet ride to the airport but once into the terminal it was a beehive of activity. We checked into the Air Europa ticket counter and rolled the huge suitcase and Debbie's backpack onto the belt. Whew, we just made it under the weight restrictions.
