... He also gave me a cutthroat shave which is probably better than any I've done myself. The only worrying point was when he was doing my neck & two transvestites came up & started jostling him for money. Can't say that's ever happened back home.

The added extra was a deep massage which he insisted giving before he would let me go which was actually pretty good.

The final price was around 500 rupees which is around 5.

Day 40 - Juicy raindrops and chicken lollipops

... the journey! Around 4ish we hopped into a cab and headed to the train station.
A little early (1:15mins) we sat in the waiting room and read until the train was due. It arrived Indian style, 20minutes late... A delay which would steadily increase throughout the journey. We live vicariously through our entertainment and our appetites are appeased as a consequence. It's a ...

Behind Alex sat a slightly larger German lady who took umbridge at him leaning his seat back. She asked him to move it forward, we thought initially just for the duration of the meal (i.e. when her tray table was ...

... will we spend Christmas far away again; away from our own families and our own familiar traditions? I don’t know, perhaps not while the children are young and still awe struck by the magic of our own Christmas’s (which we alternate yearly between Denmark and the UK) with all the aunties, uncle, cousins and grandparents showering them with love. But apart from missing everyone at home even more than usual, we have had a very special (sunny) Christmas. Despite the lack cheesy ...
