... hit the deck being promised that someone had set an alarm.
Naturally the 4am alarm hadn’t been set.
Being the first to wake, I had a pleasant quiet morning on the beach where the
odd yoga gurus where lost in tantric bliss. The odd long term traveller passed,
piercing blue eyes peering from extremely tanned faces. I also saw a couple of
blue eyed Indians which were quite startling.
Breakfast, for the other guys, consisted of

... is a bit ramshacklish and surrounded by fig trees. It’s actually a lot less populated than we imagined and is really pretty – I think it’s the people!
Checked into Marv Inn’s (recommended) and despite perhaps overpaying a touch, we are really happy with our coco-hut – pretty basic, but cute and right near the beach – and OMG the curries! Far out they are amazing! What a great start to India! ...
I was not blessed with sleep for long on the coach as we sped along a very windy road and as the coach swang from side to side I actually began to slid from side to side smashing into the sides of my bunk. I also needed the toilet, it was like 2am. I went to the door to the driver cabin and could see us haring along a dark windy road at a ridiculous speed and i thought more than ever we would die.
