... I am waiting for them to make it well-done for me. Well! THAT was worth the wait! It was delicious. Well done and not even a little bit of fat. ( I hate meat fat!). The creamed spinach and fresh green beans were excellent too. The only big surprise was realizing the woman a couple tables over has lit up a cigarette!! Funny, it wasn't THAT long ago in Huntsville. With the news of Owen's grandfather, Bill Reid Sr., having a stroke the evening of Saturday, May 17th, our plans for our time in Moberly quickly changed. ... so we do not know what the original place looked like, but the new place was rather sterile and lacked the atmosphere we are accustomed for a BBQ place. In spite of the lack of BBQ joint "ambience", the Q was not bad. Shirley had burnt ends (guess she has been converted since having them at BB’s Lawnside BBQ), and I had the ribs and meat plate. After a evening and night of thunderstorms and rain, we departed Basswood RV Resort mid morning and arrived at the Cottonwoods RV Park north of Columbus, MO a little after noon. I'm starting to think that these hills and wind are never going to go away. I had my school meeting with my teacher this morning and we got started riding at about 11:30 which is a little late.
