We woke up super early, 5:30 am (10:30 pm CST). Sara and her dad had picked out pastries from a local bakery for breakfast the night before, and we ran down to the cable car lifts to Mont Blanc to wait in line and eat them! We caught the two cable cars to the top of the mountain and enjoyed the view for about 2 hours! It was glorious seeing the beautiful ...

... room. Either way, I say we have been in Austria. But I definitely want to go back and see a whole lot more of it. ... to our actual carriage. But all up the journey is easy, quiet, relaxing with comfy seats and heaps of leg room. No check in and airport queues - beats the plane!!

We arrived at Interlaken on Tuesday afternoon to take the train to Grindelwald. We spent some time walking around. The lakes are an incredible turquoise blue.
We could see the parts of the mountains in the back drop. It was exciting, and more so as we ...

... br> We walked through/over rocks and when we could, we slid down rocks and jumped off large boulders into deep water. I really enjoyed jumping off the rocks and volunteered to do it when no one else would. Another thing that we had to do that was fun but I also found scary was zip-lining within the canyon. It is hard to trust the knot and rope to hold your weight and scooting off the rock and letting all your weight on to the zip line was ...
