... I came across a website that was for Gimmelwald, a town tucked up in the Swiss mountains with no traffic and the only way to access it is by cable car. SOLD. I watched the video (here if you’d also like to be enlightened and knew I had to go. With zero convincing, Ann and Sarah also felt the desire to get to this magical place.

Magical is exactly what it is. We flew to Basel, Switzerland and took a bus ...

When you are outside, you stand on this metal grill and below you is just sheer mountain cliffs, or air depending on where you are standing! The wind was giving us pretty poor visibility again but it wasn't as cold as the other viewpoint. I can't imagine what it would have been like to build the ...

... World Cup game is on, and this was the Interlaken routine for the five nights I was there.

      Du Hast
During the first happy hour on the second night of the World Cup I ran into two Canadian girls from a hostel that I had met in Vienna. The hostel bar is also where the locals hang out, and by locals I mean the Kiwis, Aussies, and South Africans that are working a season with the various rafting companies.
