Alone in Kyoto (part1)

A travel blog entry by tobiah

Alone in Kyoto - part 1 As is required for any change of schools in Korea, I needed to leave the country to process this year's work visa. As a matter of good timing this coincided with the Korean 'lunar new year' celebration "Seol-nal." My new school was paying for my ticket to Osaka, Japan to take care of business. Tonight's entertainment will be Petzl dvd (from Mont-Bell of course), running a stop and go 5k, and then an elegant dinner of instant noodles with squid seasoning. Yum.

Started off like any other day. A long walk to Osu Kannon to see the temples and shopping. Quick bite to eat at the Mega-Kabob. Then a hop and skip train ride into Inuyama. Of course we went the wrong way out of the station and got a little lost. We took the long way through town to first get to the shrine. Talk about stairs. Amazing view from the top that pictures cannot do it justice.
