Tokyo Disneyland Rocks!
Well what a day!
I arrived at Narita airport 6am and made it to the hotel by about 9.15. Met up with Rosemary and Kym who had arrived the night before, showered and then we headed off to Tokyo Disneyland.
We spent the next 10 hours having a blast - it really is the happiest place on earth!!

Views of Tokyo
... for a nightime view. The view of Tokyo from the 45th floor during the day had been amazing enough, but at night it was truly spectacular.
On the observation floor there is a small shop selling souveniers and I had a quick look round before buying myself a pair of bullet train shaped chopsticks with which to practice.
Still haven't found a coat though.

Last day in Tokyo (or eat as much as you can)
... wander.We headed back to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building to see the lookout during the day. We went up the South tower this time. You could see our hotel from the lookout. If the weather had been better you would have been able to see Mount Fuji.

Wie ich mich verirrte und knapp dem Tod entrann
... falsch abgebogen bin. Die WCs dort sind auch ein Erlebnis. Das Wasser in der Schüssel ist nämlich heiß, also so heiß, dass man es spürt, wenn man darüber schwebt. Dadurch ergeben sich dort saunenartige Zustände.
Zum Glück habe ich dann doch noch den Ausgang gefunden und hab dann auch schon recht bald boarden können. Neben mir saß eine Japanerin, die eigentlich in Ghana lebt und auf Geschäftsreise da is. Mit der hab ich ...

Rooms are a decent size by Japan standards, modern, lovely touches and well located for transport - 3 mins to train station, 5 min train ride to Shinjuku and 9 minutes to Tokyo station
