... experience and hope the Municipal Water Puppet Theatre goes on tour in the states someday! The last part of our evening in Vietnam consisted of having a delicious Italian dinner (yes, we had tired just a little of Vietnamese meals after two weeks) at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the city center of the Old Quarter. It was fun to people watch from our table, watch the motorcycles zoom by, and admire the views of the lovely Hoem Kiem Lake below. After dinner, we ...

After we had been through the caves, the next stop was to a beach, that looked like it could ...

Woken up pretty early with a loud knock at the door from our tour guide. It was already breakfast time already. Last night sleep was a success apart from it was freezing from the aircon, I think there first time we've been to cold on the trip. Breakfast was poor, well for Kerry anyway as it was egg, still not taken to it fully yet (well not risked it in Asia). Today we were finishing of the cruise around the bay then heading to a private area ...

... by these immense structures rising out of the sea is breathtaking. Everywhere you look another one rises up. They're a range of sizes, some are lush with green vegetation while others are sparse and rocky. Passing each island you hear different sounds, some are shrill with the chirp of cicadas, crickets and birds, others silent. We've also seen the odd Eagle swoop down and get fish.

The waters are also home to local fishing boats. Whole ...
