... I don't have enough" to "I don't have enough time to fit it all in!". The route is going to have to change around a bit, especially as things can change last minute, plus I may want to squeeze a few places in depending on what comes up. Scary! Daunting! Awesome!

... 1485. So after a hearty cooked breakfast which is a birthday tradition for the whole family, we set off on the 75 minute drive to Bosworth. Slow moving trucks held up the trip to some extent however we are getting use to this on the A roads and we left ourselves plenty of time to get there.

A scorcher today. 32c and humid! We spent time with Mildred in the morning then drove out to Tur Langton, about 30 minutes south of Leicester, to see an old friend. June is the widow of Ken, who was a leading light in the Leicester Association of Mountaineers, when we lived there. He wrote and self published the first guide book to climbs in Leicestershire and this lead him into a successful career as a publisher of climbing/mountaineering books.
