We decided that today would be a great day to take a break from touring and play a round of golf. The weather in Ancona area was beautiful and sunny. The front desk at our hotel booked a tee time for 10:40 at the nearby Golf Club Canero only 20 minutes from our hotel. The golf course is nestled in a valley with views of many hilltop towns nearby. The temperatures have dropped as have the prices of the campgrounds. From 30 to 40 Euros a night to 16! Good for us. The campgrounds are emptying out as the Italians go back to work and they tourists start to head back home. We might have it all to ourselves soon. Yeah ...
