... our apartment we found that the neighborhood had turned post-apocalyptic overnight. No one was on the street and all of the stores and café’s that were usually so busy were closed and boarded up. The only thing open in a 5 block radius was good ol’ Micky D’s.

The park seems smaller then the Los Angeles one, and many of the rides are quite different.It certainly has a more restrained European aspect which I would expect, with a less over the top feeling going on in terms of it's atmosphere.Some of the rides are shorter here.

Check-in at the hotel is fast, friendly, and convenient; with a baggage hold until later in the day when the room will be ready. So our tour guide who spoke English with a really strong French accent was hard to understand at times but overall we got the gist of champagne production.
