    ... stopped for lunch. Les also took the opportunity to buy a new pair of boots as his attempts at repairing his existing boots with 'Gaffa Tape' had failed sceptically!

    From that ride we followed Michael, Kara, Vasilisa, Chelsy, Kelly and Jessica to the huge wooden coaster, Wodan! Everyone went on this one and the ride went 100km/h (62m/h) 40 m up. The first hill was soo much fun and the drop was even better! I think this one is my new favorite wooden roller coaster!     The stellplatz in Baden Baden was a 15 minute bike ride along a lovely riverside trail to the city centre. We explored the casino in a very old and very opulently styled building along with several tour groups. I had to drag Eric away from tagging on to the champagne banquet one of the groups was being led to.     ... and a bottle of delicious ice cold beer. I convinced Eric we should follow the ridge that forms the backbone of the Black Forest range to get to Baden Baden. Well it was a good idea but the rain and low cloud prevented us from seeing more than a few metres ahead for much of the drive. Apart from rain during the night a couple of times, that was our only experience of bad weather on the road so we can’t complain.
