    Everyone joined in at Vons and helped shop for things they wanted to eat. Nice store, friendly people. We signed up for a Safeway card many years ago when we first started traveling around the country and we still have it and use it on these trips.     ... to Fiji so had a keen interest in my Australian background and what I was doing here. He was able to suggest some nice places to eat and warn me to stay on the left side of the tracks. This was due to the sketchy neighbourhood and the amount of homeless people in the area.

    ... called Katsuya - LA is lined with Sushi places everywhere. The clientele here were glamorous and the restaurant was ultra modern and stylish with one of the best sushi chefs in Hollywood.
