          ... have some fun. We found a tree to drive through like in the movies or wherever it was and explored a few groves. At this point we had wandered a bit farther from our cabin than we originally wanted to but also wanted to exhaust as much daylight as possible before eating. Melissa found us a burger shack on the main stretch so we sank our teeth into some juicy burgers and greasy fries. Normal folk would sit at their table and look at the odd pictures ...

          ... the Pacific Ocean. Now we have at least waded in three oceans on this trip --Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. One really interesting sight was the houses built for a rich logging baron that help build the city. Architecture is a sight to see. Very nice.

          ... which was a bit disappointing. However, it may have been designer given my track record with sea legs and flying......as by lunch time when the plane was meant to leave it was very windy and the Bay very choppy. So I checked out the sea Lyons on the Pier pontoons. The sea Lyons come there as part of a migratory process. They were a very boisterous lot indeed.

          ... trees. Following the Russian River we entered the wine country of Sonoma and vineyards stretched from the highway to the horizon. At Cloverdale we started climbing and lost the freeway and then entered the lake country access near Hopville. Back to freeway for awhile near Ukiah we decided not to get off to visit the Sun House.
