... headed to the little restaurant and enjoyed the local specialty of potatoes with melted cheese out on the grass. (I like Swiss food!). When we were ready to get back on the trail to finish our hike for the day, we pulled out the itinerary to find the name of our hotel. Much to our surprise, we had already arrived! How lucky we not walked the rest of the way to the bigger village where we thought we were staying! Our activity for the afternoon was a long nap! We slept until ...

Today we left the wonderful Refugio Bonatti. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed! We had a short day planned and wanted to be sure we didn't miss too much from the trail the day before after taking the bus. It was not a very restful night as there were about 30 in our dormitory, with quite a few snorers, many taking a trip to the toilet during the night, and some leaving early this morning, but still the meal last night was great, the bed comfortable and the showers hot. One downside of this almost new lodge was it had squat toilets. Oooooooh the ...

... it we were all a bit silly. We then tried to play Crowns, which was a bit silly as well. Monica is a Coeliac, and we have been amazed at the trouble the refuge staff have gone to to accommodate her needs. She always has more than she can eat, and the same number of courses as the rest of us. This has been an amazing experience with a great group of people, we are really communicating extremely well with all the members of our group. They are great ...

... and every time I sat or leaned against something they stuck to my bum, and I didn't think I would have any skin left when I finally arrived at our lodging. After our ice cream we collected our donkey, and loaded him up with all the luggage, and Nicole pulled him, or he pulled Nicole. Dinner smells delicious. We are just about to eat, so I will get back to you. Dinner was good, there is nearly always 3 courses; first we had pasta with a ...
