It wasn't really cold up the mountain, about 3º C and the sun was out, to wear snow gear one could have been over dressed!. There hasn't been a fall of snow in the past week so the snow wasn't fresh and quite icy and there were a few incidents of Rob and I slipping over.

Basically they rustled up all the plastic toys that could carry a kid at high speed down a hill including bikes, blow up toys, and some toboggans for the bigger kids (Stew and I)! Very basic in its design with little care for safety. The best kind of fun!

Dinner that night-- our last in Italy-- included spaghetti with good ole regular pasta, which made Barbara very happy. We shared a table with two retired French men who, lucky for us, spoke good English, and we swapped stories of our various travels.
