... safe platform. I knew that was the only way I was getting down and eventually went for it. The feeling while in the air was great, the touchdown in the water was horrific. I had previously been sunburnt pretty bad on my butt, this also happened to be the largest point of contact with the water. Fast sail all the way over to Otranto and even had the fun of Dolphins playing at the helm. Busy shipping lanes overnight kept us all on our toes and Eric plenty of time to practise his lights. Winds were so favourable we headed on South to M.Saint Di Leuca still arriving by 3pm in time for a cocktail on shore before getting Ellis already for next early departure ...

... seaside cliff area and a quick mid-morning gelato and caffe ingiaccio con latte mandorla (iced coffee with almond milk, Kate and Margot's new go-to caffeine fix.). Marco took a family pic that will hopefully become this year's Christmas card with the cliffs in the background. After Marco and Margot left, the four bikers continued on a little single-track dirt path along the top of the cliffs for a couple kilometers before turning back inland ...
