All lovely with a setting sun to top it off. To end the day we walked along the promenade to a hotel where we had a glass of red wine outside looking at the full moon.on the water. A good start to our stay in Jersey.

... the most unique thing we saw was the set of tapestries that had been made by the different parish communities to celebrate the history of Guernsey, as the new Millenuim project. They were beautifully made and displayed. A lifelong desire to visit the island of Sark was fulfilled when we crossed on a small boat to the island which sits on top of high cliffs and which has no motor vehicles (except a few tractors to do the heavy lifting).
