      ... and the wedding was back and forth in spanish/english in a very lovely way. Nerea spoke to Jake in english and he spoke to her in spanish, so in the group everyone got to understand some. It was quite lovely. Then we all had champagne the toast planned for there never happened, we know not why, just the hustle bustle I expect.       We had contemplated an evening meal followed by a flamenco show and a Madrid by Night bus tour. But we have fallen for slow pace of bustling activity that seems to be commonplace in Madrid so really only managed the meal after returning to the Plaza Mayor and revisiting the venue we'd coffeed ...

      ... that came last year, as I figured if it was going to go bad for someone then that someone would probably be me! Marisol (my host) and I took the bus. From the bus stop it was a 5min walk to the apartment. We are on the 2nd floor in a building, that from the outside doesn't look like apartments. My room is fairly small, with a pull down bed.       ... basically on the only pub that had room for us to stand. The bar seemed to be evenly divided in terms of who everyone was cheering for so it was such a good time to see all the different reactions. Karliana and I don't follow fütbol so we just decided to side with Real Madrid (surprisingly before they had started the game, might I add) and obviously things worked out in their favour.
