... forever in time with your fellow traveler friends.

Yesterday marked another day where I wake up and the unthinkable is about to happen. Laying on a beach led to riding a horse in a bikini and then helping ourselves to a hotel pool for the final hours of the bright sun. I don't make this up.
Today we will get back in the car, back on the road. We will shake hands, part ways and I am about to set sail off the ...
Nessebar, Burgas, Bulgaria shecat88... moj novcanik i poluprazna moja glava. Jednostavno koliko sam malo placen, toliko malo radim.

Nisam nesto bio odusevljen ovom ...
Sunny Beach, Burgas, Bulgaria marionovisad... car at a parking station and walk up to our hotel to check in and then to bring the car up. This was all easier said than done but finally after backing up a narrow road, passing the old lady in the chair twice and asking for directions at the mini-market finally found the hotel again. All worthwhile as the hotel is luxurious and right in the centre of the old town. They also upgraded us to a balcony room which overlooks the old John the Baptist church and the ruins of the ...
Nessebar, Burgas, Bulgaria souter... escape are propped open and it appears to be unlit. I go for a walk in the park; its got statues and play equipment in clearings and is rather fine. But its very hot out there even though the sun is now going in and becoming muggy. So back to hotel to eat and blog. This hotel has wireless too. Its a weird combination of old and modern. I have to leave tomorrow as they're full. Going for a walk later; I like this town. They've pedestrianized a large ...
Burgas, Bulgaria i_could_walk... coastline. Back into the town you get to another of the major sites, the church of Pantocrator. This site is located in a pretty, picturesque squares near to a open air market. Although Nessebar is a nice town to spend a few hours and makes a change from the commercialism of the rest of the Black Sea coast, there was little else to see after this so after a bite to eat I caught the ferry back to Sunny Beach.
Nessebar, Burgas, Bulgaria gfleming... one where I lost my sunglasses and another which made me think I had lost my top until I remembered that I had come out without it - that being the style of the time. Packed it up and went for a walk to the new town and to the other beach before heading back to our place for a quick shower, a sneaky biscuit and our bags. Said goodbye to our bloke and we hadn't gotten too far down the road when he chased us up and asked for the key back - GREG! Bus to Varna.
Sozopol, Bulgaria leahandgregBurgas was hosting the first ever MTV Spirit of Burgas festival with Groove Armada, Koseen, Ministry of Sound etc. It was situated on the beach, had an electric atmosphere, great music and was bouncing! All for £20 as well. If you happen to see the festival on MTV you will probably see me & G. Aside from the festival there is nothing happening in Burgas.
Burgas, Burgas, Bulgaria stevewadeSunny Beach is a holiday resort on the coast of Bulgaria. It's basically sunbathe all day and booze all night. Lots of British, Sweedish, Norwegian, Dutch and German tourists. Not the nicest place in the world but good for a chill out and a few nights on the lash.
Sunny Beach, Bulgaria stevewade... The irony was, that eventually, a couple of sweaty and bumpy hours later, I popped out of the forest onto the red road. It was big, fast and devoid of any traffic. My overnight stop on the border in Malko Tarnovo turned out to be a brand new hobby hotel built by the local architect. I had a dip in the pool, watch a bit of telly on the plasma tv in my room, sat in the garden with a beer while the sun set. Bliss. And all for £30.
Burgas, Burgas, Bulgaria springy100Ruse to Velki Preslav Distance 158 Best bit: country roads Worst bit: having to resist buying a house in Ruse! I said a fond farewell to the guest house crowd this morning (Gail waved me off at 7am) and also said a fond farewell to the Danube. On my own again with no super German maps to help me, just a rather large road atlas. Anyhow, no problems with ...
