On the morning of Friday 7th Sep, I took the 9hour train from Lijiang to Kunming, arrived in Kunming 5pm... At 7pm took the overnight 10 hour train to Guiyang.. Arrived in Guiyang 6am on Saturday 8th Sep. Stayed in Guiyang for one night to visit some friends at the Guiyang ...
I see the city lit up at last...
... had visited the earthquake area - damaged buildings left as they are as a tribute to those who are buried under them.
Sad to think I'm leaving Guiyang after two weeks here - have got to really quite like it.
Meeting Andy at the garage tomorrow morning - resounded very happy and cheerful when he rang me today. Looking forward to getting back on the road again, and into the swing of living in the camper again.
