    Heute "verschieben" wir uns vom Zentrum Bangkok etwas Richtung Norden in die Nähe des zweiten, low cost Carrier-Flughafen im Norden von Bangkok, dem Don Mueang Airport. Gar nicht so einfach in einer Stadt wie Bangkok, sofern die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel benützt werden sollen.

    ... almost 10 years ago now. We were in the right place when we saw the menu and there was a cocktail called 'Mels Mojo' we drank two or three cocktails each before deciding to head back to our much quieter beach. To get back we had to take another longtail boat as there was not much lighting along the path through the jungle so it's easier to take a boat around the bay. It was quite interesting at night when the boat only had a small light on the top, we just hoped that this one ...

    ... but for the price it is difficult to find reason for complaint.

    After a few hours of catch up sleep we headed out for some food at a cafe across the road from the hotel. It is now time to turn in (well, maybe after one more free beer from the minibar) safe in the knowledge that the meal, consisting of a tasty starter, mains, beers and coffees came in at £11.50 for both of us - a real bargain. At least ...

    ... ago and I didn't have fond memories of the place. I remember it as dirty, smelly, busy and very difficult to get around. It has really changed in the last 10 years and this time round I loved it! It was still busy and sometimes smelly but it now has much easier means of getting around making the whole experience much easier! We loved travelling on the sky train and figuring our how to use it.
