What a beautiful island--Crete
... up ( and I do mean up) to the cave opening, then down several hundred steps, then back up. The cave felt pretty good as it is almost as hot as Kansas here. We then did a city tour, and then back to the resort to swim and just enjoy the evening. Today we are doing something with sea turtles, learning Greek dances and getting a little beach time. Looks like a great day ahead! ...
(BIG) Dora the Explorer...
... so we will have to have round two of that.
As we were quite roasted from yesterday and the sun was burning down we stayed indoors for a bit doing admin etc. Our rather large dirty clothes bag came to mind so I asked Big Dora where we might do some laundry. Turns out apparently the closet one is in the town towards the beach and according to Big Dora “Must walk, only 20 minutes, yes yes you fine, go go”. Cool so off we set with the bag on our backs…at least ...

It was then time for round one of Aussie vs Saffa Ping Pong tournament – different code but I still won 2 games to 3!!
More roasting in the sun, a very relaxed arvo, dinner then another early night. All this chilling out really takes it out of you.
