    ... the Island in Myrtos. The stops before Myrtos were unremarkable but the drive over there, in a four hour loop, took in some staggering views and both beautiful and bleak countryside. Myrtos is a small town/large village on the sea and has a somewhat cool vibe as lots of back packers stop there to apparently sleep in the beach (although we didn't see any camping on the sand).     We were welcomed to our Olympos accommodation as members of the family and almost begged to return next year: "we build this place for people like you, not. Just any people, special people". We're thrilled we stayed there at night as no one does really, and in the day, it's a little coach party territory so we were pleased to see it late evening and early morning (before 10), without the hoards. We've gone from Tuesday sail at 9am, to Wednesday only at 3pm, coming back the following Wednesday ( we had planned to get the Monday night boat ), and we were also met with "Wednesday boat full ,sorry, you can come back laters, sometime computer you know, it not full anymore".
