    ... to pick the country that we’d never been to, is close in proximity to London and could be enjoyed in three days. After a quick 45 minute flight we landed in Brussels and immediately hopped onto the train to Bruges. Now this city was never part of the original plan, but after countless recommendations from friends and family (and because Jason had watched the movie 'In Brugge’), we knew we had to see it for ourselves.

    ... journey to Koln - I signed up for the Internet, but it kept dropping out. We grabbed a cheese sandwich and a coffee when it was offered. The sandwich had 2 sorts of soft cheeses pickles - needed the coffee to unglue the mouth! We had to change trains at Koln and that was when the fun started.     ... lovely. On the map we noticed from Denmark to Germany we would be crossing water, bets were made if it would be via a bridge or tunnel but it turns out we were both wrong. The crossing was made via a ferry and the train just drove straight onboard. It was very cool.
