... seem to be on every corner. It is hard to believe that we have been traveling for 3 weeks, the half way point of our trip. Arrived in Prague at 4:30 PM. The hotel here is old but very nice in the heart of Old Town. At 5:45 PM we met our tour director for a walking tour of the area going all the way to the Charles Bridge. We went to the Old Town Square and ...

A bowl of hot rabbit stew for dinner (I love seeing this stuff on the menu!) and we visited the Old Town square for the last time. I ...

... of the oldest clocks of this type in Europe and the only one still working. It is set in the Old Town Hall and is certainly worth seeing as it shows the large degree of scientific knowledge of the era. The clock face represents the Earth and the sky, a part for the day another for the night. The clock’s outer ring shows old Czech time. The astronomical dial shows the movements of the sun and the moon, and a third dial is for zodiacal signs. The clock itself is actually ...

... main square in time to see the Clock "perform". We had heard that it was a magical and interesting cuckoo clock but it was really lame and tacky and didn't "perform" to our expectations at all.

We walked around a little bit more, saw a sex museum and then caught the tram back to our area, grabbed a kebab from a shop near our hostel and then napped. Later that evening we were going on a pub crawl which was had been described as "epic" and so I ...
