... like a ski lift) up the hill to the Germania monument, built in 1871 for the reunification of Germany then walked the 5kms down the hill. Had a drink, then went shopping & back to the boat for lunch.

The next part of he Rhine is known for its castles, they were amazing, the cloud then started to move in so went inside for coffee & cake, like we needed more food.

Got a haircut, really impressed & only €18.

Entertainment tonight was a crew show that had us all ...

The speed limit is set at 130 km/h for cars (not our coach, it has a max limit to 100 km/h). Saw quite a few nice German cars speed on past. Had a half price happy hour at the hotel bar before an included buffet dinner with the tour. A quiet day on the blog today, spent most of today in transit with just a couple of ...

We were off again at 7:30am, after what was becoming the "usual" 6:00am wakeup call. We have a long way to go, so it's a big driving day today. We headed out of Amsterdam heading south for Boppard. It was quite misty low down but clearing.
