But they all eventually come back. Because the draw of Kalymnos is too great. Many people I meet, have this story of leaving and working, but they always come back.

The Glass Wreck Hall and Glass Hall showcases glassware and artefacts recovered from ships sunk in 1025 AD, the 15th century BC to the 14th century AD. Stunning! Today, the Rhapsody of the Seas pulled into Bodrum, Turkey, and I'm afraid that the Turners did not get off the ship. We always enjoy the days when the ship is in port, because the decks are empty! We know that Bodrum is a beautiful beach town, but we have been to so many fabulous beaches, we decided to skip it. I know that we will be back to Turkey, so we will have another opportunity to visit both Bodrum and Kusadasi.

... knoll in the centre of the harbour and is just as impressive inside despite the killer steps to its summit. We retrace our way back through the markets and succumb to some of the delights of a more than impressive looking Turkish patisserie. Back at hotel some time later and then dinner at seafood restaurant a few doors down. The Octopus was divine despite the excruciating wait. Milk in our tea - thanks to all the Brits who now call this place ...
