    Walking tour with Garry to see the old and new city of Innsbrück: Beautiful old buildings, pedestrian streets and Sworovski showroom. It was a cold wind, cold enough to wear parkas! Could see the ski jump from the 1962 and 1976 Winter Olympics. The shops were selling winter gear, especially ski clothes. It is a clean, picturesque town and would look amazing in winter with all the snow on the mountains! As we left at 10.30am we saw training jumps for skiers. We couldn't see too ...

    ... actually amazing as you could see Mt Riggi and Mt Pilatus and a whole heap of other snow capped mountains etc. It was extremely hazy because of the weather but we got the general gist (and so began our favourite catchphrase of Lucerne - "Imagine what this would look like if it was sunny").
