    • This morning half of us took a cruise on the lake. This gave a different perspective of Lucerne. The lake is very clear and only 2-3 meters deep in many plkasces so one can see the bottom. One thing that stands out is how green everything is. Chalets are sprinkled around the hillsides and often really high up on isolated slopes but they are surrounded by lush green grass that stretchers right up to the tree line.
