The bikes were very uncomfortable and when we got back our bodies were quite sore and tired. We found a local Vietnamese restaurant, lovely decor and good attentive service but the food was ordinary. ... jelly legs when we got down. Caught the bus, train,and another bus back to the site where we collapsed in a heap! For 10 mins, before remembering that the boring but necessary washing needed doing , after flooding the floor I realised u had to pay extra to spin it , oops. ... We had passed a machine which was cleaning the road of debris from the snow and ice a few bends before. There had been no signage at the start of the climb. As we descended we met the ski team who were skating up the pass. OMG! We took the motorway back to Altdorf and followed the lakes to Brienz. One tunnel was about 10 kms long.
