Today was a quiet day compared to yesterday since my legs were a little sore from the ropes course. I walked to the Trümmelbachfälle which is a waterfall that has 10 glacier waterfalls inside the mountain of the Lauterbrunnen Valley. After my trip to the waterfall I called it a day and spent it relaxing and reading my book whilst enjoying the view from the campsite. ...

Many years ago, large skii resorts tried to build here, but luckily the town's people pulled together and got the governement to sanction it as an avalanche zone so no large building could be built in this area. The rest of the day was doing more relaxing and having dinner at the hotel. We tried some raclette, which is melted cheese served with boiled little potatoes, peal onions and sliced dill pickles. Sounds wierd, but it is really good! Tomorrow's weather is supposed to be rainy, so we shall see what that means for activities as it might be a day to do more reading!

Lauterbrunnen was a 'high point' for our trip in many ways. It had been ~3 weeks since our trip started, and we'd had a few hiccups along the way, so it was great when things just clicked, including: - solid hostel at super cheap price - incredible natural landscape - met great people (an American couple from Idaho*, who we had a lot in common with - best part is they were geologists, so they could explain ...
