... 568m. They are 12.7km apart. I was staying at Jungfrau Camping ground. Jungfrau is the tallest peak in Europe. It is known as 'the top of Europe'. You can visit the top on a two hour train ride from Lauterbrunnen, but at €139 per person (about $200) it was super expensive! I decided to stay. Behind the camping ground is a waterfall. The valley that Lauterbrunnen lies is known as the 'Valley of 72 waterfalls'. The one behind the camping ...

the Alps! The cheese fondue was amazing. It was served in a large pot over a
flame with many fixings to add flavor, including onions, garlic, chili, and
pesto. This was Josh’s first fondue experience and he told me it definitely
impressed.

For our full day in the Alps, Josh and I opted to ...

Another tiny mountain town

... a great community feeling!). Though the plan was to have it for lunch, we arrived too early at our hostel to check in, and ended up buying lunch on a patio to fill our time (at 12$, it was expensive, but compared to the previous 20€ paella mistake, it could have been worse). Dinner and hopefully lunch on the train tomorrow! Stopped in to see trummelbach falls, en route to lauterbunnen, definitely a beautiful natural attraction! Then followed a ...
