... to try and buy tickets up the mountain, don't have vouchers physically on us (that they gave us about 3 hours earlier) so refuse to give us discount, we give up, they are impossible to deal with , reception 1 - tranny crew 0. Pork steaks for dinner in what feels like -5 degrees, we all are absolutely freezing - this extended summer has made us all soft. Off to bed, mainly to stay warm!! ... so we opt for some chicken wings & a hot dog. I ask a young Swiss boy for directions to the train station & we set off to figure out how to get back to Lauterbrunnen. The Swiss are very friendly, polite & helpful & so happy tourists choose their country for holidays. It's a nice change after Paris. And they all speak English really well, it's one of their 4 national languages. The train journey is very scenic & takes less than half an hour. On arrival ...

... was more beautiful and we enjoyed the visual as well as the gastronomic experience.

The rest of the train ride from Luzern to Lauterbrunnen was stunningly beautiful and the ride went just long enough, but not too long. We made all our connections with ease...4 brains and 8 eyes worked well together to make sure we were heading in the right directions.
