How do the villagers need to prepare for a possibl

Get those sources out students! Blog me as fast as you can. I need to know how to help the villagers prepare. We have been to the castle, but many want to go home to check on their livestock. What should I tell them? Please work in your small groups and brainstorm ideas to propose plans for their self defense. You will need to use your creativity! Each group leader needs to blog me with their proposals as soon as possible!

Here we go!

This is so exciting! However the villagers tell us that we need to stay within the village for the next few days as there is talk of Vikings in the area! We are really regretting the fact that we did not take more time to learn about the norwegian viking group and what they could do!

where it began

We celebrated our fiftieth wedding anniversary with a trip with our daughter and her husband. This was in July 2006. We visited Austria first nice, and then Slidre, Norway. In Norway we visited my ancestral farm, the Nesja farm in Slidre. The present owner Oyvind Nesja and his family were very gracious. They wined and dined us and showed all the sights.

... friend snowshoed. The ski hill wasn't very big and so this way we avoided paying for the lift ticket! I only got one run down though. The next day Afton and I fulfilled our dreams of ice climbing. It didn't last long enough though and we can't wait to do it again. We got two short ice climbs in. We were the guides best customers apparently since we were the first ones to show up that had ...

... natured, Norwegian way, apologized for not being there and for not checking his e-mail. We grabbed our stuff, walked for about 2 minutes and were at his cabin where we also met Toby's cabin-mate Ola. Now this was luxury. Tania and I had a room. Danika had a room. We could drink water from the taps (clear, fresh, mountain water I may add). And to top it off, I got a welcome drink (Aquavit - basically Norwegian whisky) as well as dinner. This boded well. Now to ...

Norway in a Nutshell

... of 2,952 feet into the fjord below. As the train jaunted on, we saw many instances of multiple waterfalls along the mountain. Amanda called them 'Whishy Waters'. We stopped and disembarked at one particular waterfall and the train started blasting what sounded like Celtic New Age music. We quickly took photos of the waterfall that has a small ruin in the foreground. The wind was strong and water from the fall were spraying in our direction ...

My Trip to Norway

... major things are bilingual. The real challenge is with the little things that are Norwegian-only (like, for example, the juice machine). My breakfast juice choices were vall, plank, oobst, or puvoot. (It's like one big IKEA I tell ya.) I wanted orange juice (just like the picture), but I'm pretty sure I got a combination of fjord water and donkey juice. In fact, breakfast was a big challenge because I didn't know what anything was. I'm game to try it all, but I don't know how they ...
