We woke early in Zermatt to check out, take in one last look around the beautiful little town and jump about the famous Glacier Express train along UNESCO heritage railways to our final destination of St Moritz. Along the way there was endless picturesque scenery from snow capped mountains to summer green fields and typically Swiss towns all along the route. ... back in time. The dominance of the mountains over this city was breathtaking. Hard to believe we're here in real time. We dined in the hotel restaurant in which the meal was poor as it was a set menu. But it's food & fills a hole. At least we're back into Euro territory with no more use for the expensive Swiss franc. Things are becoming cheaper. It was nearly 10pm before we retired to bed. Guten ...

We leave Liechtenstein tomorrow for Switzerland so prices will remain high but it will mostly be a day of travel so with our final eurail trip it should be an inexpensive day. Our next entry won't be until Singapore since we will have little to report from our time in airports and planes. ...

... which once you realise is no more expensive than anywhere else but provided wonderful cuisine is the place to wile away a few hours.

And so so yes we enjoyed Vaduz but as Emma said to Rob this morning probably best for a lunch stop en route to somewhere unless you are the sort of traveller who can actually enjoy stillness and rest in a beautiful location.
