... sadly not anymore.... at least for me. The Weather was absolutely perfect and Bianca and myself had a good time relaxing in those higher elevations. A couple days ago I made an Bicycle tour in the Black Forrest going up and around the "Schluchsee" it is a beautiful ride among the hills going true the Black forrest in Southern Germany just across the Rhine river from Rümikon where my Mother and also my sister and Brother in Law are living..... ...

All you need to bring is a small towel, a change of clothes and your toiletries. There is bedding and even comfy slippers all ready for you in these family run establishments. Heidiland Yesterday, we had a later start to the day as did the 3rd tour, to the Heidiland region which commenced at 11am and returned at 7pm. Our guide Marcello is a lovely older, slightly rounded Swiss gent and asked each one of us what our nationality was as we boarded. While Marcello is a tour guide now in his semi retirement, he did the mandatory military service as a young man and then completed his chef apprenticeship which was his main career for 45 years.
