    Lunch with an old friend

A travel blog entry by daniel.swiss on Jun 10, 2015

Today I had lunch with an old friend of mine, one of the last people I still know at my first employer. We remembered the "good old days", and we caught up with the kid's stories. I realized that his youngest is now 15; the last time I saw him, he was ...

Honestly, I'm pretty sure it was neither French nor German, so it did me no good. I started to sprint past people in the escalator, seeing my train on the other side of the station. I'm pretty sure everyone just saw a giant backpack flying through the station, because I don't know if I've ...

Arrived back in Geneva last night & no let up in excitement as I am off to Cern today, which is 30min on the tram & is on the border of Switzerland & France.

Thank you for all your responses to my travel blog. Nicole kindly pointed out that I had made an error in one of my captions, 'Top athlete outside Olympic Stadium.' She said it should read ‘Confused old man outside Olympic Stadium.’ Thank you Nicole for pointing ...
