    ... to reach there.

Well from the outside of city there is a breathtaking view of the upper town but once you are in it I woudn't say the same. Still there is plenty to see wandering around the streets and lots of lovely churches to explore. But it's definitely not the best medieval town in Italy.

... We were in awe (see all the pictures I took which does not do the view justice). After this, we walked around the city until we found the botanical gardens. What I loved the most about Milan was the Duomo. This beautiful Gothic Cathedral left me speechless. I can't find the words to describe how beautiful and amazing this building is. It was just perfect and to know it was build such a long time ago makes it even more amazing.
I knew as I was leaving Milan, heading to Venice, I was about to have a life changing experience.

Day 291 9 hrs, 2.9 kms Day Totals: 16 hrs, 9.1 kms In Bergamo I spend a couple of hours in a cybercafe, uploading and saving all my pictures--and planning my next move. I only have about 10 days left on this trip, but I'm determined to have it end with a bang. It's approaching evening as I finally head out back towards Milan--but there's one ...
