This morning we left the picturesque Plitvice and Croatia behind us to head to Slovenia. Our stop for lunch was at the capital of Slovenia - Ljubljana. The city centre felt more urban than our last few stops - business people dressed for work, but a lovely pedestrian area with green space, the Three Bridges as well as some lovely architecture. This was a brief stop as we continued on our way to Lake Bled. ...

5 euro if you steal food from the buffet here so no apple for snacking on later today for me.

Today we drove around Lake Bled and headed off to another Lake about 30 mins away through picture postcard scenery. Lots of farms in this area.

Ah, maybe it will be sunny ...

... old and ran on electric motors also some information about the lake and mountains. Ribcev Laz: a small village with the most photographed church in Slovenia. The small church, St Christopher's is famous s for it's 15th century frescos. We then walked back to camp, on the way back we stopped at a Scout camp site, but it was deserted. It appeared to be a permanently set out camp that ...

... little roofs on the top. We pass through Bled, Slovenia's top tourist attraction, where it's very busy due to a marathon taking place. Half an hour later and we arrive at Lake Bohinj, a beautiful clear lake with steep sided mountains all around it's shores. The campsite is right on the lake side. Wow! We find a nice spot and have a beer: 157 miles and 2 mountain passes, not a bad day, Oh! and it's stopped ...
