    ... at an open section of river and he spent about 30mins looking at and investigating the rocks! We found one with incredible green streaks through it. We wanted to try some Slovenian cuisine so went for dinner at a cute little place called Strud'l. We had a huge feast of local specialities. It was delicious! We also tried their homemade tea and a crepe for dessert. So full! Very enjoyable ...

    ... the lake! The scenery was beautiful with forests, mountains and waterfalls. Once we made it to the town again we were freezing so headed back to the van for soup. Then we took the main road through Bohinjska to Lake Bohinj in the Triglav National park. It's beautiful. We have never experienced Autumn like this before! So many spectacular colours.     The morning saw lots of rain. We packed up and left camp around 11am and drove into Bled. We donned the waterproof hiking boots and wandered around the lake and town before stopping for a pizza (very Slovenian!). We also tried the famous Bled cream cake (kremna rezina). We walked back around the lake, hoping to rent a row boat to row out to the island, but the weather became more miserable. We went back to the van ...

    ... it - not great for photography! I had a 30 minute walk to where I wanted to shoot so tried my luck and hoped it’d clear. While not ideal ‘sunrise’ conditions, the fog and mist over the Lake, made for some cool photos - see below! :)

    ... run by several companies and non of them accept tickets of the other ones. its very cheap to use buses and we didn't mind the money but its not a nice feeling, that's all. came back to bled, just stroll around the town a little. do some window shopping and some real shopping. didn't make yesterdays mistake and find a nice pizzeria and ate a very large and very good pizza. went back to the house and Had a good night ...
