The beer and Valium may cause a slightly hazy navigational experience while trying to catch my next flight. This will in no way cause me to actually avoid these drugs, but rather it will simply push me to do a bit of extra planning while still state-side.
I'll look up the map of the airport.
I'll work out my route from one gate to the next.
I'll look into specific landmarks to help jog my potentially foggy ...

I reckon this trip will help me to make some awesome pictures.

It was sooooo cold in Frankfurt, we didn't want to spend much time here since we had no winter clothing. WE got in late, went to our hotel, then back to the airport to get our flight to Bangkok moved up. We though it would be at 8 that night, but they managed to get us on the next flight out, which was pretty much within the hour. Woohooo! I also kept speaking Italian in Germany... so confused with all the languages.

Then you wait in long lines which are not really lines all all because everyone politely presses forward until it is one giant herd of bodies. Only the determined persevere and move forward. The rest of us schmucks stay put in line as people move ahead until we get the hang of it and we learn to politely push forward. My passport was taken, entered into a ...

Unfortunately it was time to call it a trip, so we all piled in the car and Flo kindly drove us home on the ultra-efficient Autobahn where nobody drives slowly in the left lane.

From there we proceeded down the Romantic Road. This route, designated with signs here and there is supposed to lead tourists through the best-preserved medieval towns central Germany. It was a pleasant drive, and the towns did indeed to be old and well-preserved.

2/4/09 - We docked at Miltenberg on 12.45pm and headed to the town for a tour at 1.15pm. Miltenberg is on the Main (pronounced Mine) River and we spent 2 3/4 hrs - part with a guide and the rest as free time. The ship actually only stops for a very short time in Miltenberg and then sails onto Freudenberg and the group meet up with the ship via coach.
