... 240 for one hour. So we went walking for hours. Firstly to the huge waterfall behind the town which we could see from the ship. The climb up from the road was a real grunt and a scuffle over rocks and slippy stones. But finally made it and it is definitely worth it. Lovely views down to the picturesque village and beyond to the fjord. And the spray off the waterfall was refreshing. ...

We did a LOT of bouncing around yesterday, but every step was worth it. We took a train to a bus to a ship to a train to another train. And we never got lost!!! Miraculous, I know. The cruise was supposed to be the amazing part so I had no expectations for the train or bus on the way there. I was blown away by both. Once we got to the mountains there was snow everywhere, but you could wear shorts and a t-shirt outside it was so warm. That meant there was a lot ...

... the cars that were blocking the luggage, and then they allowed the stream of people to flood out into the bus area. It was chaos! Everybody was trying to get their luggage on a bus, and there was nobody there to help, so people were being very inefficient about it. Way too many people tried for the first bus, but some people saw that, and soon, there were way too many people at all of the buses. Ultimately, all of the buses were crowded and full, and I ...

The duration of the trip was one hour and we enjoyed every second of it. The sheer beauty of the Norwegian Alps with its majestic mountains and gigantic waterfalls flowing into crystal clear rivers beside quaint alpine villages was just breathtaking We all voted it an experience we will long remember.

Arriving in Myrdal we had time for a quick ...
