Some Norwegian guy had a little piece of bread and, seeing a seagull trailing the boat, held it out with his hand. Eventually the gull took it right from his fingers. Sometimes he would throw bread out and it would turn into a tiny Mustang fighter plane, pulling all kinds of aerobatic maneuvers to catch the bread in mid-air. Day 14 - Flam
Yesterday I visited the bridge and found it very interesting to hear how, despite using computers, & GPS etc it is still the eyes of the officer on watch that plays a major part of maneouvering the ship through the water.

... little deck has a great view. However, they are just old, and not historic. I wasn't upset with them, but it wasn't quite the elegance of the other areas. Also, it is unfortunate that there is a lot of construction going on in Voss, so the views aren't as nice as they could be. This isn't just by our hotel, but all over town.

The duration of the trip was one hour and we enjoyed every second of it. The sheer beauty of the Norwegian Alps with its majestic mountains and gigantic waterfalls flowing into crystal clear rivers beside quaint alpine villages was just breathtaking We all voted it an experience we will long remember.
