... tons of locals were laying out in the sun. We definitely got some stares. Our guide walked us up stream so that we could float even longer, explained that the current is really fast so be careful when jumping in if someone is right next to you, and that he would tell us when to start swimming to the left side of the river at the end to get out. After lining up for a decent amount of time in the information line we understood that we had been typing in Fussen instead of the correct spelling Füssen with two double dots on top of the u. Goes to show just how ignorant we are. Anyways we finally reached our hostel after having some trouble recognizing the correct bus stop to get out of and also trouble in buying the day ticket inside the bus. Finally we could start our travels.
