Our day began with a morning drive to Munich. We parked and walked to the city center just in time to see the Glockenspiel strike twelve o'clock-it is quite a show for fifteen minutes. We spent a few hours touring the city center and having lunch. We had our Augustiener Beer which Andrew had recommended to us. Leo's beer was a beer brewed just for the Oktoberfest. We left in ...

... have two steins each, plus some more of Britts. On top of this the beers in town and the prinks we had in the room, we're getting a fair bit drunk in quick time. We love it, we're standing on seats, getting told off for it and talking absolute smack to each other. There's a girl who sits at the table behind us who may actually be a ten out of ten on the looks scale. Nobody remembers how we got home that night. I do know for a fact though that I drunk messaged ...

A new museum is under construction which will try to explain the history of the Nazi movement as a permanent reminder of such madness. Hop on U Bahn back to Marienplatz. Bit more of a potter and quick lunch. Back to campsite to see lots of festival rafts coming down the River Isar by our campsite. Covered in hundreds ...

... in the mid 50's. I order fresh chanterelle mushroom soup as a starter to take the chill off. Followed by a mixed salad and half roasted chicken. Lecker!

The bier - well there were a couple ordered - it tastes absolutely divine; the way a bier should taste. What I would give to find Augustiner imported to the US!!!!

It's been a long day of planes, trains and automobiles. We head back to the hotel, have a glass of wine and end the evening.
