... charges were in Ohio. I think we have that mostly straight but he will have to get a new card when we get back. i am now sitting in our hotel while Taylor is in meetings. I will walk to the store in a minute and pick up a few things to take with us to Paris. I think it will take us 6 hours to drive there so maybe not much to write about today unless we take a downtown adventure late. It does stay light here until after 10.....ciao! Side ...
... lead into a neighborhood which contained a former home turned into a cuckoo clock. We waited until 3:30 to see the bird come out. Upon leaving, we saw a bus coming to see the clock so we made it just in time.
We ended our day with a piece of Black Forest Cake, large drinks and a little window shopping at the House of 1000 clocks. We arrived home around 9:00 pm and slept very well that night.
... Govert, and the girls and I spent the afternoon walking around centro Baden-baden. It is a cute little town - very clean and beautifully landscaped. There were the typical shops and cafés, with musicians in the streets. This was a perfect place to end our vacation. Fred and Govert made it back in time for the soccer game (US/Belgium), which went in to over-time but didn't end well. We all crashed in our comfy German beds in anticipation of a very long travel ...
