Knees are jiggling, fingers tapping away. And it hurts, oh does it hurt. This is it for me, people. I will be changed forever. They'll call me Girl Who Wet Herself On The Way To Germany. Goodbye cruel, toilet-less world. Can I ...

... an old forestry road and unfortunately they were working on it and it was mud to our ankles, boots totally covered! That only lasted a few hundred metres, but track was very wet in any low lying areas. Managed to clean the worst of the mud off when we came to a spot where water was gushing out from a pipe under the track. Eventually left the farms behind and entered a steep sided valley with numerous tributaries coming in all round the main river. Rivers are ...

... building, set high on the hill overlooking the lake so we had beautiful views from our balcony. Sunday 12th October No bus trips today, all on foot. First half hour was flat, then we hit the hill. Up 530 m in a zigzag through lovely forest. A tough climb and some of it through fog so unfortunately did not get the great views we were hoping for. Did get above the fog at the top and it was impressive looking down on the fog in the ...
