... so he accompanies me. Two levels of bags, shows & products from 1950 to current day. Also a Gucci customised vehicle Cadillac. And evening gowns designed for Some of the stars. Not the best museum & would only recommend for Gucci fans. Tip - leave your hubby at the Irish pub next door. It's a pretty night walking back to the hotel. Today is the day we have booked a "Florence for Foodies" tour, so after a light(ish) breakfast we head to the meeting point on the steps of the San Lorenzo church. In typical small world fashion our Italian tour guide Sam turns out to be married to a Christchurch boy, and even insists that I have a quick chat with him on her 'phone later in the day so that he gets to hear a Kiwi accent. Up early and off to the train in Chiusi which is about a 20 minute drive from Citta Della Pieve. John, Mick and I found great seats and settled in to the hour and a half trip to Florence. The trip for one person costs about $13 euro second class. You can buy the tickets at self serve machines and they are good for a couple of months.
