... we learned in our pre-travel meetings was that Italians use toothpaste. And probably bleach too. It was an astonishing discovery. In other words, I probably asked a stupid question like, do I have to pack toothpaste? Well, turns out I didn't. Which is nice, you know, seeing as how I did this whole trip with one backpack. We did go back for the bombelini and they were so yummy – almost as good as my mum's zeppele. When we returned we walked down to get a glimpse of the wedding, which is happening at the local church – how exciting.
