      ... and a set of notes and stationary kept on each seat. Each one of us took one and I also noticed that the water in the water bottle was carbonated. In Swiss they have two kinds of water; one is sprinkling water and the other natural one. We had two teachers for French course a male and female teacher, Julian and Silna respectively. They both were very friendly and started off the class with the basics of French. It was fun learning a,b,c,d once again ...

      ... advice, offers of shelter and hands on support that you have provided us with. We leave in the knowledge that we will come back to some very special people....and hopefully will see many of you along the way in any case!!

      Teary stuff aside, Dec and Jan were also Party Time!!!! Cheers to all the good times we had together, now it's time for a detox. Yea right.

      Our last day of vacation :(. We got up early so we could grab breakfast and be at the Chateau de Chillon when it opened. The weather wasn't great and it was raining but cleared up. Shane was super excited to see boulangeries which are French pastry and bread shops. As opposed to in Murren and the Berner Oberland region which has a very strong German influence, Montreaux is all French! We ended up at a little cafe by our hotel and had THE BEST croissants! They were warm and super flakey. ...

      ... the cheese factory of Fribourg Switzerland (at first we were going to go to the chocolate factory as well but it was canceled because it had a two hour wait). The first thing that I noticed when we got to the cheese factory was that there were hundreds of cheeses in a room that was behind glass. After a little waiting we started the tour.
