... was some unflattering graffiti on walls in the town. In all honesty, the place isn't ideal for a rest day as there are some steep inclines to deal with to visit the Protestant Cathedral - protestantism is the major Christian tradition in th is Canton - and other old town sites.

... Steep hills. We were following these through the vineyards that line the hills when we spotted a campsite down by the lake shore. It was after 6pm and we had had enough of this brutal day of riding. This is a very popular campsite, we have already run into some fellow Aussies here (for the jazz festival), but there are heaps of tents up. Yet this would have to be one of the worst campsite I've been to. Hot showers cost 1 Franc for 4 minutes. For that, Susan got 100% hot, ...
