The trade off is we are in a beautiful environment. Very dry air, and hard water. Altitude also affects the temperature water boils at, and how long things take to cook. Soft boiled egg is 6 minutes. Fortunately there is an App to help with such things. Also means that hangovers can arrive early and hit hard. woke to a wonderful view of the Lausanne lake. We drove down to evian and after much debating as to which wharf we wer to leave from. We finally found it and took the ferry over to lausanne which was beautiful until the girls found out that they would have to climb a hil to get to the centre of town. We wandered back down and had ice cream and fish and chips in a lovely cafe. A walk along the water gave us a chance for a few photo opportunities. Ferry back to ...

... to come close. As the raft came around the corner I could see Corbin up front paddling away with a huge proud grin on his face. They all jumped in that cold lake when near to the bank and had a swim in that cumbersome bathing attire.
