Ness and I decided to order desserts and I got a little over excited when I saw doughnuts on the menu, as we'd been taking about them earlier and how much I fancied some. ... PLACES WE ATE:
Hotel Silberhorn several times. Lunch--pork sausage with onion gravy; great french fries.
Dinner twice: Schnitzel with fries & Rosti with pears, tomatoes, raclette cheese, which was too rich; could only eat half. Spagetti bolognese (just ok)

... movie was partly filmed. There were three gondolo's in total and as we got off at each little town we were met by a large digital sign displaying the temperature. It dropped dramatically from 29 degrees to just 9 degrees at our highest point. The view on the climb up was nothing but magical. We were surrounded by the most beautiful green landscape of rolling hills and dramatic black and brown mountains still topped with winter snow.

In a while I plan to head over to the shop on the corner and possibly buy a watch and a Swiss Army Knife. And then dinner tonight in the big tent! Should be fantastic. Tomorrow, French Riviera!
