Heading toward Keswick was an adventure. He made the GPS take us through the scenic route. This in turn took us up the mountains and around the edge of the lakes. I departed Oxenholme station in late afternoon, after waving my family goodbye I settled into the first stage of my long journey across the world.
After several hours on the virgin train from the north I arrived in
london at Euston, I crossed to Notting hill gate to meet natascha, my
first host of the long trip! She showed me around the area of london
where she lives and we went for a cheeky pint in a lovely little pub.
