    ... You never know.  Either that or they just had no problems standing in a gondola, as we found ourselves. This was new. Riding in a gondola as we looked down at the outrageous hill we no longer had to hike up. We have to say, it was a pretty nice experience, if a tad bit foreign. I have met so many strangers on this trip, from the friends I have made at the hostels or on the trains to random strangers I ask for directions, or to take my picture. Regardless of nationality the people I have been fortunate enough to encounter have been giving, kind and eager to help.
