      ... we’re both nerds), saw the bears that Bern is famous for, went to different lakes and the cities around them, saw a few castles. It was really nice to just explore the countryside, and gave us a chance to get rested up and just relax before Barcelona. He had unfortunately been having serious problems with his back which has put him off work for the time being and as a result was able to 'hobble' us around parts of the city. Firstly, we went to an amazing coffee place overlooking Bern. Now if you haven’t been to Bern, go there! The city is truly gorgeous and personally I think it is much more appealing than Geneva.
